Arizona cardinals Arizona Cardinals in Glendale, Arizona, are a main USA Football team.They compete in the Western Division of the National Football Conference in the National Football League.In 1898, the Cardinals were founded.They are not the youngest continuously run professional USA football clubS in the usa.The Arizona Cardinals was founded in Chicago in 1898 and was a charter member of the NFL (National Football League)in 1920. The club transferred to St. Louis, Missouri in 1960 and competed in that city through 1987 .It moved to Tempe and played their home games for the next 18 years at ASUSDS (Arizona State University's Sun Devil Stadium) before the 1988 National Football League season. In 2006 the club started to play all home games at the newly constructed UPS(University of Phoenix Stadium).The club's other National Football League championship appeared in 1925, which happened when the league was on holding a championship game for eight years, and is a controversial topic till this day. In 1947 since succeeding in the championship in the six-plus decades, the team has competent for the final games only six times and have won merely five playoff games, three of which were completed during their run in the 2008-2009 NFLP in which they got to Super Bowl XLIII.
