Cleveland Browns The CB Cleveland Browns,an occupational American football team, are located in Cleveland, Ohio. They are members of the AFC( the American Football Conference) Northern division in theNFL(National Football League). Being a charter member of the AAFC(All-America Football Conference),they began play in 1946 and took part in the NFL in 1950 after the AAFC folded. This team has gained eight league championships; they won all four AAFC titles. After joining the NFL it won another four championships before the NFL-AFL merger in 1970. As a historically successful club,the Browns has not played a league championship game since the merger but they have struggled for the AFC Championship three times.Unfortunately,they have lost all of the three games. Before the merger ,along with two NFLCG(National Football League Championship Games) of the Super Bowl era, Cleveland is one of the five NFL teams that have yet to qualify for the SB(Super Bowl).
