Oakland RaidersThe Oakland Raiders are a professional American football team ,which is located in the city of Oakland, California. They played the WD(Western Division) of the AFC( American Football Conference) in the NFL . In 1960 they began play as the 8th charter member of the AFL, where they won 1 championship and 3 division titles. In 1970,being part of the AFL–NFL merger,the team became a member of the NFL.They have won 12 division titles and 3 SB(Super Bowls) since participating in the NFL, and have showed up in 2 other SB. 13 former players have been enshrined in the PFHF( Pro Football Hall of Fame). In 1963, Al Davis came to the team as head coach and general manager. Between 1963 and 2002 the team merely had 7 losing seasons. He also began to use team slogans such as "P&P(Pride and Poise)," "CE(Commitment to Excellence)," and "Just Win, Baby". All of these are registered trademarks. In 1982, after a few years of legal battles, Davis transferred the team from Oakland to Los Angeles, California. In Los Angeles, the Raiders won their 3rd SB(Super Bowl), but through the rest of the 1980s ,they made just two final shows. In 1995, Davis brought the team back to Oakland. In 2000, head coach Jon Gruden led Oakland to a twelve- to- four season and their first division title ninteen years ago ,the time when it was the first of a three- year- winning streak for the team in the AFC WD(west division) in the following two seasons. In 2002, guided by head coach Bill Callahan, Oakland faced GTBB (Gruden's Tampa Bay Buccaneers) in SB XXXVII.At that place the team lost a lopsided affair: foyty-eight to twenty-one.
